Styling is all about the art of arranging objects. It is how you display pieces to create a beautiful arrangement or scene. It’s how you curate your collections. It’s how you edit your spaces. And to style well - and with confidence - you really need to learn the art and science of composition. - Natalie Walton
During Spain’s 2-month lockdown to combat the coronavirus, we were feeling shut off from the rest of the world and nervous about how our creative energies would whither. We longed to get back into the studio and design new objects, and we yearned to connect with other creative people with whom we could collaborate.
So when we learned that the stylist who normally worked with Pernilla Danielsson had left the island, we offered up our help on her photoshoots. If you don’t already know Pernilla’s work, do yourself a favor and flip over to her Instagram to see the beauty she creates & captures.
The first of a few projects was this stunning renovated home in the center of the island, skillfully fixed up by a kind German couple who does this for a living. In case you don’t know exactly what styling is….according to one of our favorites on social media, “styling is all about the art of arranging objects. It is how you display pieces to create a beautiful arrangement or scene. It’s how you curate your collections. It’s how you edit your spaces. And to style well - and with confidence - you really need to learn the art and science of composition.”
So to kick off the first of many projects that we’re styling in collaboration with Pernilla, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful one that showcases the beauty of Mallorca and the Mediterranean lifestyle.
