We are Thomas Bossert and Melissa Rosenbauer – a team of makers, where quality craftmanship is everything. espanyolet was born out of a simple but authentic desire: to use our hands on surfaces beyond a computer keyboard. This creative instinct initially drew us from New York to Bali, where we learned ceramic-making, batik and natural dyeing, before we felt Mallorca’s magnetic pull. Here, awakened to our hands’ new abilities and longing to create meaningful, Mediterranean-inspired pieces, we began sourcing and painting vintage textiles, connecting with fellow makers along the way. The result – espanyolet’s one-of-a-kind upholstery, artworks and patina walls – have earned us acclaim locally and internationally.
