What does it mean to live ‘Mediterranean’? You feel it. It’s open-plan living, where lunches are eaten with your fingers and flow from the kitchen to the terrace to the fig tree and back. It’s a favorite old chair, perfectly angled to drink in the morning sunlight with your cortado. It’s a picnic basket, a linen throw and the scent of pine trees on a warm day. This simple act of being present in life’s pleasures is the heart of espanyolet. We will curate a color palette that draws the natural world inside, and using tactile surfaces (rattan, linen, wood, micro-cement) that feel unfussy, cozy and lived in. Our design is modern and fresh – with ‘that’ feeling.
